How To Hide Hidden PowerPoint Pages From Being Viewed At All Times

QUESTION: Hi Luigi,

I have attached 3 pages from the presentation, saved as a presentation and as a slide show.

Open the slide show. You will notice that the slide show consist only of 1 page, the next page if you use your arrow keys on you key board the next page will be black - end of slide show.

I have hidden the other pages.

Click on the first page (landing page).

Click on our history.

At the bottom of the next page there will be a link to the next history cont. page and then back to the home page (landing page).

Problem: click with your arrow keys again going up or down, you will be able to see the previous activated pages - Are there any way to avoid clients from viewing these pages again, can I hide the pages at a different setting?

This presentation will be sent to our clients internal and external. I would like for them only to have access to the first page, they should be able to access all the information from only the first page, I do realise that they should only use the mouse, but there will be some using their keyboards and using the arrow keys.

I look forward hearing from you. I hope this is a bit more clearer.

Kind regards
Santa van der Walt

ANSWER: OK Santa,

I get your problem now.

You can do the following:

Separate the slides that you are linking to from the home page into distinct individual files that will be called up when people click on your home page links.

In this case final users will NOT be able to move through the presentation as they could do before with the arrow keys. I have tested it and am sending you back a sample. I have added a new link to make my point. Use the "alliances" button on your home page to see the result.

Please load Testmw.pps and try it. Let me know if this is what you were looking for.

Glad to help,

******
Santa solved his problem and wrote back:
"Thank you Luigi, I have tried this and it works!"
