Configuring Slide Numbers Displayed In A PowerPoint Presentation

QUESTION: Dear Masterviews,

I would like to put in my presentation the total number of slides, next slide numbers. For example: slide 2 of 15.

How do I do that?

Thank you for your help!

Elsa

ANSWER: Dear Elsa,

thank you for your question.

To insert the total number of slides do the following:

  1. Go to the Slide Master=> Insert=>Slide number. TheHeader and Footer dialog box will open.
  2. Insert_Slide_Number.gif

  3. Select the Slide Tab, tick the option Slide number and click on Apply to All.
  4. Slide_Number.gif

    Apply_To_All.gif

  5. Go to to the Number Area placeholder, at the bottom right of the screen
  6. Type in a slash (/) and the total number of slides after the # symbol

Number_Area.gif

and that's all!
