Configuring Slide Numbers Displayed In A PowerPoint Presentation

QUESTION: Dear Masterviews,

I would like to put in my presentation the total number of slides, next slide numbers. For example: slide 2 of 15.

How do I do that?

ANSWER: Dear Elsa,

thank you for your question.

To insert the total number of slides do the following:

1. Go to the Slide Master=> Insert=>Slide number. TheHeader and Footer dialog box will open.



2. Select the Slide Tab, tick the option Slide number and click on Apply to All.





3. Go to to the Number Area placeholder, at the bottom right of the screen
4. Type in a slash (/) and the total number of slides after the # symbol

and that's all!
