How To Display The Print Preview In A PowerPoint Presentation

When you need to print a PowerPoint presentation and want to preview it before sending it to the printer, you can use the Print Preview option.

The following instructions are valid for PowerPoint 2002.

To find this option click on the File Menu and select Print Preview.

Once inside the Print Preview window you can:

  • Select what you want to print by clicking the drop down menu of the Print What option. You can choose among different options such as: slides, handouts, notes and outline.
  • Print_What.gif

  • Configure the header and footer, the color, and decide whether to scale the print out to fit paper by selecting Options.
