If you have been trying to manually align graphical objects including pictures, clipart, geometric shapes you have drawn in PowerPoint slides, you may have not realized that this is a difficult task. PowerPoint integrates a facility which is dedicated to simplify the process of aligning and even distributing objects on a slide.
Often when I am in the classroom, many students ask me how to automatically align objects on a slide, as when they use their mouse they go crazy to move the different objects from a pixel to another one in the slide.
Especially elder people find this very difficult since they do not use the zoom and moving the mouse around the slide is very tiresome and sometimes painful for them.
To facilitate these people's task, I have prepared some essential steps to align some objects on a slide. These steps are valid for PowerPoint 2002 and 2003.
