How To Open A PPS File When PowerPoint Cannot Do It

QUESTION: Dear All,

I received a .pps file via e-mail, but I cannot open it with PowerPoint. How can I do?

Please let me know.

Prashant

ANSWER: Dear Prashant,

first of all thank you for your question.

To open your file .pps when PowerPoint can not do it, please do the followings:

  1. Open a new presentation.
  2. Go to Insert -> Slides From Files.

    Insert_Slide_From_File.gif

  3. Click on Browse and search for your .pps file.

    Slide_Finder11.gif

  4. Click on the .pps file which you could not open, and then click OK.
  5. Click on Insert All, and then close the Slide Finder.

    Insert_All11.gif

All the slides belonging to that .pps file should now be visible in this new presentation.
