How To Change The Hyperlink Color In A PowerPoint Slide
QUESTION: Dear Masterviews,
I've been to your page that tells you how to change the color of
hyperlinked text inside slides (http://tinyurl.com/az8d7). But I'm sorry to say I don't understand the directions. It states to click on format and then custom tab. I can not locate a format tab. I just want to know how to change the color of my links inside my PowerPoint slides.
Thank you for your assistance,
J.
ANSWER: Dear reader,
Thank you for sending me the link to the article you have previously mentioned.
Such article explains how to change the default color of an hyperlinked text into a PowerPoint slide. The instructions provided are for PowerPoint 97 and 2000.
You have probably a more recent version, this way I have prepared for you all the necessary steps to be followed.
To change the default color of an hyperlinked text into a PowerPoint slide, if you have PowerPoint 2002 and 2003, please do like this:
- Click on Format, from the main menu.
- Choose "Slide Design".
- Select "Color Schemes" from the Slide Design task pane on your right.
- Click on "Edit Color Schemes" at the bottom of the pane.
- Choose "Custom" from the "Edit Color Schemes" box.
- Select "Accent & hyperlink".
- Click on "Change Color".
- Select the color desired, then click OK.
- Select "Accent & followed hyperlink".
- Click on "Change Color".
- Select the same color you have chosen during the previous step, then click OK.
- Click on "Apply".
Your hyperlinked text will immediately change into the color you have just selected.
Please let me know if this can help.
All the best,
Chiara Monetti
