PowerPoint Templates: Where To Find Them Once You Have Created One

You have created a nice PowerPoint template that you would like to use for your presentations.

The problem is that when you open the Design Template task pane such template is not displayed, and you cannot even find it.

What to do?

To find any template you cannot display (with PowerPoint versions 2002 and 2003):

  1. Click on Format, Slide Design

  2. Format_Slide_Design.gif

  3. Click on "Browse" at the bottom of the Design Template pane. This way you will be able to search within your computer for the missing template.

  4. Browse.gif

Please note that usually PowerPoint saves by default your design templates inside the Templates/Presentation Designs folder.
