Reshade is a free online service that anyone can use to resize images online without signing up to any service. You just have to upload a picture from your PC or paste its URL into the box: you can then resize, crop, smooth or sharpen your image. When you're finished, your final image will display and you will be able to save it locally by right clicking it and selecting "Save image as...". Free to use with no registration.

GSpot is a free .exe application that can be run without any installation that enables you to discover which codec has been used to encode a particular video. After you import a video, GSpot will automatically give you all the information you need to play that file: video and audio codec, bitrate, size and format.
